1YL Visual Exploration

1YL Visual Exploration

#1

Young Life

2025

In 2024, Young Life refreshed its all-staff conference branding with a new logo and visual identity. The new look features a modern logo with a distinct wave pattern in teals, blues, and purples. Looking ahead to 2028, the goal is to further evolve the identity while preserving the meaning behind 1YL, to celebrate together as one mission.

Building on the previous conference’s identity, these new options enhance versatility across mediums. Mesh gradients replace the wave pattern for a fresh look while maintaining energy. Glass textures allow for light-based visual directions in digital content like motion design and video. A second option uses a palette that draws inspiration from California’s ocean sunsets, blending the old and new identities. New patterns are made to mimic light rays that work as frames to mix photo and design content.
